Bein a BIG boy.
We are doin excersises practicing walkin.
Did it from back room into kitchen.
He does good bearin his own weight, but I support his chest so he don't fall.
W/ the cerebral palsey, he has a hard time w/ his feet. It makes him curl his toes and his feet roll in a bit @ times and makes it hard to walk FLAT footed.
We CONTINUE to work @ it though.
Good head controle when HE wants to.

He looooves feelin and grabbin the paper and really consentrates on it.

This is when we HAD gone up in the mountains to go campin. Lasted till bout 11pm and we had to pull OUT of camp and go HOME.
Isaiah had been sick w/ a cough, but thought gettin out he'd enjoy it.
Well..... Went to sleep bout 10pm and an hr. later woke up coughin real bad, gagin, and tryin HARD to get his breath. New we had better get home. Got him in the steam in the bathroom and was doin a lot better. Altitude change didn't help either. Plus bein in the wall tent w/ wood stove made it dryer for him to breath. Come to find out when the test came back from goin to Dr, he had WHOOPIN COUGH. That explains why he had hard time breathin w/ the cough and gaspin for air. This went on for 3-4 wks. Got on med. to help out. This sickness has been a draaaaaag. Steamer in the room w/ him EVERY night. Been doin lots of red clover drops, elderberry syrup, and friendly digest to help heal his tummy now since AFTER the med.
Gettin lots better now.
We did hot/cold packs on him BEFORE bed to keep his cough BROKE up.
That didn't help his breathin though.
He was havin a GOOD time though. Nights hit him HARD. Drs. were amazed he actualy had "Whoopin Cough" cause he ACTED so good n' LOOKED so good. Told them when he coughed you'd KNOW it though. I had it BEFORE him too.

There WAS somethin out there THAT night. Dogs went crazy.
The NEXT day the boys had a Mountain Lion
run across right in front of them while drivin the 4-wheeler.
They even got pics.
I was ok to be home =-).
The 2 Mountain Men thinkin, "Life is GREAT."
Duke THOUGHT he was out for the night.

She's now 5 mon. n' bout 8 lbs. Anxious to get pups from her someday.

She's good lil' dog. hardly ever barks.
Still gettin the potty trainin down though.
She's gettin better bout goin to the door to be let out when she's ready.
Accidents happen when ya get "excitted" though =-).
